It’s said that you need to spend 10,000 hours on a single skill to master it. Bruce lee, one of my all time favorite prodigies, once said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
To stick to one skill for years isn’t a cake walk. You need to have the hunger, a clear vision, picture that dream spot where you see yourself smoothly overcoming any challenge that coming your way regarding that skill.
It demands extraordinary diligence to cut through tough time, boringness, but it’s proven that all must pass and you’ll witness the silver lining one day.
I believe, what I do, is my favorite and will be for long. I want to do it until my last breathe. I want to write, keep writing, and witness the day where I’ll be tagged as an expert.
I am far away now, but the distance is gradually shrinking. I am stepping forward, maybe like the turtle in that fictoric (not a word from dictionary) race, but grace, I am excited about those great days. I am grateful to God, for still keeping my enthusiasm alive. Thank you so much.
