You become professional if only you ace. Here are some professional tips from my 5 year old writing experience for ardent content writers.

In 2017, it was all about writing some bite-sized poetry. In 2024, I am a professional content writer. Of course, poetry is not the ideal step to commence with SEO content writing. It’s only words, that are common. SEO content writing is totally a different thing.

But still I am grateful to those days of poetry writing. I loved pretending myself as a poet, a thinker, as if I think totally different from others. It helped me becoming a content writer. The only reason is, I used to write everyday (at least 50 words). The intention to writing poetry was to fetch something out of the world. But as a content writer, there is no alternative to writing earthly. The more pragmatic and problem-solving your writing is, the more beautiful content you process.

This very blog, that I am writing is not an ideal format of SEO content, I am avoiding many good practices. For example I hardly avoid 3/4 paragraph formula. Like, my each paragraph never exceeds 3 to 4 lines. Alternatively, I die to keep my each paragraph under 50 words or 300 characters. A great practice to SEO content writing.

However, the most important factors I think to write a great piece are the following:

  1. Understanding the topic well, very well.
  2. Sorting best secondary keywords, that will push you to appear on those blue links on the first page of SERP.
  3. Writing to the point, and avoid fluff and flowery words.
  4. Understanding the intention and angle of the content.

And there are some other good practices. One of them I told earlier, like maintaining short paragraphs, writing an outline that has several relevant subheadings, and using keywords carefully.

It’s 2024, if you haven’t heard of semantic keywords, please do check this blog.

So far, I’ve written hundreds of SEO content, and trust me the frequency of ranking is now a days like 70% at least. The game changer here was the Google's last core update. At last, my hard work and good practices started speaking boldly.

There this hype of AI writing now. Bullshit, trust me. Similar to others, if you have heard others saying AI will take over content writers’ job, it’s to me the most hilarious rumors I’ve ever heard lately. I won’t go deep to that argument, I’ve my own defense. But broadly I can say, AI writing will need at least 20 years to overcome you, regardless of how fast they make progress. In my opinion, if a machine learning model has the intention to take over writer’s job, I guess it won’t be a big boom, instead AI has to crack bigger objectives.

But, AI can help you immensely in brainstorming, understanding a hard topic, and generating useful links. Just use those AIs wisely, they can be game changers for your writing career.

I won’t blabber much in this blog. I am writing this to kick off to a new series of SEO content writing.
